FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
- How does the check-in work?
- Answer: Check-in is done exclusively via our self-check-in system. Please complete the online check-in form and send us a photo ID and credit card details for the deposit by email. Further details and the keybox code will be sent to you after successful registration. Check-in is possible between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Outside of these hours, you can check in using a key code (with owner approval).
- How do I receive the key code for my apartment?
- Answer: The keybox code will be sent to you via SMS, WhatsApp, or email after you complete the check-in form and provide the required documents (photo ID and credit card).
- Where are the Sunny Ferienwohnungen located?
- Answer: Our apartments are located directly at the Schmittenhöhe, just about 2 minutes by car from the center of Zell am See. Address: Sonnalmweg 4, 5700 Zell am See, Austria.
- How can I download the digital guest card for discounts?
- Answer: The digital guest card is available only in summer and can be downloaded from the Zell am See-Kaprun Tourism Association website after completing the check-in form.
- Are pets allowed?
- Answer: Pets are allowed upon request and for a fee of 30 EUR per night. Not all apartments are pet-friendly due to possible allergies from other guests. Please keep your pet on a leash at all times.
- Is there parking available?
- Answer: Yes, we provide two free parking spaces per apartment in the carport. Additional parking spaces are available for 10 EUR per day. Please park in the designated parking areas.
- How does the bread roll service work? Is there breakfast?
- Answer: Our bread roll service is available through our online service. Orders must be placed by 7:30 PM the day before, with a minimum order value of 12 EUR. More information can be found on the website of our partner bakery Katschner.
- Is there a sauna?
- Answer: Yes, the sauna is available from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM upon reservation. The fee is 30 EUR per hour per apartment, including sauna towels for each person. Reservations must be made by 11:00 AM on the same day. Bathrobes are not provided.
- Can I check in or check out earlier or later?
- Answer: Early check-in is available upon request and availability for a fee of 50 EUR. Check-out is between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Late check-out is also available upon request and availability for a fee of 50 EUR.
- Is there a washing machine and dryer?
- Answer: Yes, our washing machine and dryer are available for free in the laundry room. Detergent is not provided. An iron and ironing board are also available.
- What is the equipment in the apartments?
- Answer: Our apartments are fully equipped with a microwave, oven, ceramic stove, toaster, kettle, dishes, cutlery, pots, Nespresso machine, and safe. The bathrooms feature a shower/WC, towel warmer, and hairdryer.
- Starter Kit: Shower shampoo, 3 dishwasher tablets, microfiber cloth, dish towel, 1 set of bed linen, 1 towel, and 1 bath towel per person.
- Is there cleaning during the stay?
- Answer: Daily cleaning is not included in the price. However, an interim cleaning with bed linen and towel change can be arranged upon request for 180 EUR, including bed linen and towel change.
- What safety measures are in place?
- Answer: Our outdoor and communal areas are under video surveillance. Please dispose of your trash properly and keep the property clean.
- How can I reach you if I have any questions?

- Is there a ski room?
- Answer: Yes, there is a ski room in the building to the left of the main entrance, including ski boot warmers and security cameras.
